Ombré Brows are a form of permanent makeup, but they do fade slowly over time. Permanent makeup typically lasts 2–4 years and longer, depending on several factors including skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure.
A topical anesthetic gel is applied to numb the area before and during the procedure. Discomfort is typically minimal to none. Pain tolerance does vary per individual, but most clients are pleasantly surprised.
Touch-ups are highly recommended 4–8 weeks after the initial procedure to refine and perfect the results. After that, once every 1–2 years is typically all you need to keep brows looking fresh.
The initial appointment is approximately 3 hours. This includes a full consultation, precise brow mapping, numbing, and the shading process itself — plenty of time to get it just right.
Brows may appear darker immediately after the procedure — this is completely normal. Over the next 7–14 days, the color will gradually lighten as the skin heals. Light flaking or peeling is expected.
